Betsy Beise

Betsy Beise serves as administrative leadership for the Academy for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. She is a Professor of Physics and the Senior Associate Provost. Her responsibilities include oversight of the development and implementation of new academic programs, reviews of academic units, centers and institutes, and review and administration of academic agreements, both domestic and international. Dr. Beise also broadly manages the University's academic programs located at  the University System of Maryland's Regional Centers. Dr. Beise's scientific career has been focused on the use of electromagnetic and weak probes of the internal structure of protons, neutrons and light nuclei, and on the use of nuclear physics techniques to test fundamental symmetries of nature.
