Find Us on Campus
Our office and The Loft are located in the Edward St. John Teaching & Learning Center (ESJ). If you’re coming from outside campus, most visitors park in either the Regents Garage or the Visitor Center. From there, we’ve got you covered; just follow the directions below.
Visitor parking rates and payment are managed by the Department of Transportation Services (DOTS). Visit the DOTS parking website for current pricing and instructions on how to use the pay stations.
From the Regent’s Drive Parking Garage:
- Start by crossing Fieldhouse Drive towards Hornbake Library.
- You can either use the skywalk on the 3rd floor of the garage if you need an accessible route, or go up the hill and stairs instead.
- As you walk through Hornbake Plaza, you'll pass the Frederick Douglass statue and Hornbake Library.
- Continue straight, then cross Campus Drive.
- The Edward St. John Teaching & Learning Center sits directly across the street.
Inside the building:
- Enter ESJ and walk toward the interior brick section of the building.
- Go through the double glass doors into the brick area, then turn left.
- Our office is ESJ 1130, you’ll spot it by the brightly lit wall behind the front desk.
- If you’re going to The Loft (ESJ 2101), follow the previous directions, but once you see our our office, go to the stairwell on the right and follow the directional signs up to the Loft (ESJ 2101).

From the Visitor Center to ESJ:
- Start by crossing Baltimore Avenue, heading toward Lot C1 near Turner Hall.
- Continue through the Purple Line tracks. The Armory will be on your left and the Mitchell Building on your right.
- Keep going straight and cross Regents Drive.
- As you reach McKeldin Mall, the Edward St. John Teaching & Learning Center (ESJ) will be the second building on your right.
Inside the building:
- Enter ESJ from the stairs facing McKeldin Mall.
- Immediately turn right toward the brightly lit wall behind the front desk - that's our office, ESJ 1130.
- If you’re going to The Loft (ESJ 2101), follow the previous directions, but once you see our our office, go to the stairwell on the right and follow the directional signs up to the Loft (ESJ 2101).
