Nick Ocasio

Nick is the initial point of contact for all things related to the Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him for a friendly gateway to our vibrant innovation community, as he manages our course logistics, oversees the efficient operations of AIE spaces, and promotes an organized hub that fosters creative collaboration. In addition to his operational oversight, he is actively involved in data collection and steering our communication and marketing efforts to effectively articulate our story and impact across our community.  

Before joining the Academy, he had a blended experience in graduate admissions, program operations, and academic advising with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and Simmons University. He especially took pleasure in student coaching focused on active listening, cognitive behavioral therapy methods, and solution oriented advocacy techniques. 

Outside the Academy, you can listen to him on his self-produced football podcast titled First & 30, find him at a court near you playing pickup basketball or pickleball, adding to his Pokémon and football card collection, practicing yoga or exercising at the gym, and spending time with his wife, Gabriella, and their two cats, Ash and Eevee.
