I'm joining the Becoming a design thinker learning community because … I am working on a project about the Frederick Douglass Statue. I want to share access to information that I am uncovering with others who are interested. I also will be joining folks at the Douglass center this semester to plan activities to commemorate 10 years since the statue's unveiling, which will be in November 2025. 

My favorite place on UMD's campus is … the Frederick Douglass Statue and Square.
